Q.  1) How much does a website cost?

Ans. There are many factors that can affect the ultimate cost of your website. This includes how many pages you will need, if you will sell products on your website, the graphic work involved, and how interactive your future website will be. It will be dynamic or a static site. You will also need web hosting and domain name registration. One of our Consultants will be happy to contact you to evaluate your needs and provide an estimate for your site design and development. Our technical sales consultants are trained to evaluate your needs, so you can stay within your budget and receive quality service from both iBacs and your website.

Q.  2) I don't know anything about websites! Where do I start?

Ans. iBacs can help you.. We would like make contact with you to evaluate your website needs. We will help you create a "site map", which is an outline of what you feel the website should provide for your employees, your customers, and your prospective customers. Q.  3) What information do you need from me to get started?

Ans.

Ideally we need 4 pieces of information from you:

1) A domain name - such as www.yourwebsite.co.nz. You can check to see if your preferred name is available using the search form on this website: https://www.securepaynet.net/default.aspx?prog_id=444703

2) Website content broken down into sizeable chunks of information, e.g. Products, Prices, Examples, Contact details. We can work with printed materials such as your company brochures but this will take longer than using electronic text as we will have to retype all the text (and will cost extra) . Images can be provided in printed or digital format, we will optimise them to look good and download quickly on your website.

3) Target audience - an idea of who your customers are and who you are hoping to attract online will help us to display the wording and design in an appropriate manner.

4) Your company logo. If you don't have one, we can advise a suitable way to brand your website or our Design Centre can help you produce a logo.

Q.  4) How long will it take to develop my website?

Ans. Once iBacs has all your content in final form and a signed contract and deposit, a typical website is ready to launch after about 30 working days. Larger sites may take longer.

Q.  5) Do you have examples of websites you have built?

Ans. Check out our website portfolio. In addition to these websites there are always some website projects that we are doing for our other clients. Any new websites launched or developed by IBacs's website development cell are displayed in news section as well as updated portfolio. Q.  6) How much do you charge for updates?

Ans. We only do updates to websites that we design. Our minimum charge is £15 per hour. Saying that if it's just a small change we usually don't make a charge within the first year.

Q.  7) How will having a website benefit us?

Ans. The internet is where most consumers go for information. Studies have shown that more people research, shop and get their news online than ever before. Businesses are getting thousands of new leads that would not have been possible without a website. And more people are getting online every day. A website is becoming just as basic and important a business tool as a phone number.

Q.  8) Do you offer any e-commerce packages?

Ans. Yes we do, from shopping carts to customised information sharing. We have e-commerce packages start from £795. The costs can vary, this is all dependant on your requirements. We also offer secure merchant gateways to transact business in real time with automated fulfilment. Our E-commerce packages can handle any type of electronic processing from credit cards to cheques and other electronic transfers.

Q.  9) Do you offer any type of discounts?

Ans. Yes, we offer discounts for schools and not for profit organisations. We have developed many sites at discounted charge for local charities.

Q. 10) What types of payments does iBacs accept?

Ans. iBacs accepts payments online via internet banking or by cheque. Cheques should be made payable to iBacs IT Solutions, Malthouse Avenue Cardiff Gate Business Park, Cardiff CF23 8RU United Kingdom.

Q. 11) What is the payment schedule?

Ans. Payments are typically due in two parts: A deposit and signed contract are required before commencing our work together. The deposit is usually 50% of the total amount established in the contract. For larger projects or longer time frames, incremental payments could be due along the way, which would be defined in the contract.

After completion of the website by iBacs, the final balance will be due and payable. Payment in full is required within seven (7) days of the website being uploaded (or sending the files to you via email or postal mail). Additional work incurred during the project at the client's request will be added to the balance.

Q. 12) What size screen resolution do you design your websites for?

Ans. Most sites are designed for 800x600 monitor settings so that we have accommodated the smallest monitor setting. iBacs can also design your site to actually assess the monitor settings of the site visitor, and then present a site width that works well with their individual settings.

Q. 13) Why can't I find my website in the search engines?

Ans. There are many reasons why your site might not be found in the search engines. Please review the documentation on the search engine optimization page. We would be happy to discuss search engine optimisation. iBacs is an expert in search engine marketing.
